Steven Metts Obituary
Steven Jack Metts, (83) dedicated husband, father, grandfather great grandfather, uncle and friend, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2022.
Steven was born to Frank & Violet Metts in Nashville, Arkansas on November 24, 1938.
Steven served in the US ARMY from 1961 to 1963.
He started his career at United Parcel Service in 1959, and worked there his entire career, before and after the ARMY, until he retired in 1995. He was a very dedicated worker and made many friends there.
He met Linda M. Kleinheider in 1966, and they married on September 14, 1968.
Steven loved to grill outside, spend time with friends and family, and watch his KC Royals play, when he wasn't working.
Steven leaves behind his wife of 54 years; Linda, their children Lisa Hayward (Rick), Robert "Bob" Metts, Chris Metts (Pam) and David Metts. Six grandchildren, one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Steven will be laid to rest with close family present.
