Lovely obituary. Lots of love to you Debbie and Platt Family. I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Steve...the times I met him at our company picnics he was a generous and fun person. I remember all of the beautiful produce that he and Debbie would bring and share with everyone. Bless you Platt Family.

We send our Condolesences to his family. Our memories go way back to our
childhood. We,the Murray´s would travel from Jacksonville to the Platts in Newberry (Jonesville) for a big lunch of all the aunts, uncles, cousins and Papa and Granny. I remember that and all others as great fun. Overtime we all drifted our separate ways. We were all proud of Steve´s accomplishments. We were sad to hear of his death. We know that he was doing one of the things he loved. He will be missed.

So sorry to hear of Steve´s passing. I met him in the early 80´s through my financial business and maintained that business relationship until my retirement. I always considered him a good friend. I remember him as being a very friendly and generous man. I was honored to enjoy some of those annual crawfish boils at his home. Steve was surely a great guy! He will be missed. Prayers for the whole family.
