Steven Weil Obituary
Born in Bristol, PA, he lived on the Treasure Coast for the last 13 years coming from Broward County.
Steven was Executor Director of Operations for the Martin County School System for 13 years. He also served with the Florida Highway Patrol Auxiliary for nine years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Elisa Weil of Stuart, FL; daughters Brittany Nichole and Stephanie Lauren; parents, Janice and Robert Weil, Sr., of Port St. Lucie, FL; brothers Robert Weil, Jr., of Boynton Beach, FL and Drew Weil, Sr. of Palm City, FL.
A gathering of friends will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2013 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Grace Place in Stuart followed by a memorial service at 1:00 pm.
Contributions in his honor may be made to the United Way of Martin County, PO Box 362, Stuart, FL 34995.

I have had the opportunity to work for Steve in the MC Transportation Department. Steve was always one to support you if you were correct and one to tell you when you were wrong. He will be missed, I know he will be looking over us from heaven above. My thoughts go out the family but he is in a peaceful place now I am sure.

To Steve's Girls,
I have no words to express your loss for I simply am having a hard time believing this myself. I cannot question God's decision to take such an extraordinary man from this earth, but I truly believe Steve will now serve as your guardian angel from heaven. Be strong, and at times I know this must seem impossible, but there are so many of us who are willing to help and support all of you. I am so very sorry this has happened to your family, and it must seem terribly unfair. Steve's passing has been a strong message to all of us in the Martin County School District concerning priorities and our health. That alone maybe the reason why! My prayers and thoughts are with each of you through this difficult time.
Ray Charles once said, "I never wanted to be famous. I only wanted to be great." I believe Steve was "Greatness" when he touched all of our lives.

I was privileged to work with Steve on a district budget committee some years ago. I appreciated his ability to manage the many details of his role but also see how it fit into the bigger picture. Part of that picture was his family and you should know how proud we was to have each of you in it.

Dear Weil Family,
In our lives, we often do not meet anyone as morally upstanding, as dedicated to life as was Steve. His is one of the few people I have known who stands behind his word. He will be missed.
Having lost my both parents at an early age, I kept hearing that there were new stars in Heaven helping us. It didn't mean that much to me at that time of suffering loss, but it sure means a lot to me now. May he shine eternally from Heaven looking down on those who love and miss him!
