Steven Wilson

Steven Richard Wilson Jr., age 31, passed away on August 4, 2025, in Aurora, Colorado. Born on August 9, 1993, in Clarksville, Tennessee, Steven brought light and laughter into the world from the very beginning.

A proud Tennessean by birth and a Coloradan by choice, Steven pursued his education at the Community College of Denver with a focus on engineering. He aspired to continue his studies at the prestigious Colorado School of Mines to become a chemical engineer in the oil and gas industry.

Steven's life was filled with passion and purpose. A fitness enthusiast with an adventurous spirit, he found joy in movement, music, and exploration. Whether lifting weights or lacing up his cleats for football a sport he played throughout high school and college Steven thrived on challenge and camaraderie. A devoted Dallas Cowboys fan, he embraced competition with enthusiasm and heart.

Music played a central role in Steven's life. He loved rapping and immersing himself in lyrics that resonated deeply with him. His interest in astrology reflected his introspective side-always seeking meaning to life while remaining grounded in the present.

Steven traveled widely across the United States, from Texas to California to Pennsylvania, embracing each new place as an opportunity for growth and connection. He delighted in trying new foods wherever he went, savoring both flavors and experiences.

Though he never started a family of his own, Steven's devotion to those around him was unwavering. He was a steadfast presence in the lives of his loved ones-a kind-hearted soul whose warmth and generosity touched everyone fortunate enough to know him. Known for his quick wit and infectious laughter, Steven had a natural gift for comedy that made him the life of every gathering. His humor brought comfort and joy to those around him.

Steven is deeply mourned by his mother Tshebia Wilson; father Steven Wilson Sr.; brothers Demontrae Wilson, Sammanuelle Hall and Immanuelle Hall; sisters Sy'Yanna Hall, Chardonnae Hall, Perrajeane Hall, Cortney Edwards, and Apiffany Highum; nephews Preston Highum and Camren Highum; nieces Audrey Highum, Kyra Edwards, and Ma'lay Edwards; grandfather Escambia Alexis Edwards; and grandmother Catherine Edwards.

He now joins in eternal rest his sister Jacquae Hall; grandmother Ozeda Wilson; uncle Freddie Wilson; aunt Cathy McFadden; and John Wilson Sr. grandfather.

A man of Christian faith, Steven lived with compassion at his core. His legacy is one of laughter shared, dreams pursued, miles traveled, songs sung-and above all else, love given freely.

May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him and continue to inspire all who carry forward the light he so effortlessly shared.
