Sue Harris Weddle, 82, of Little Rock died Saturday, February 1, 2014. She was born in Forrest City to J.E. and Marie Harris. She was a member of Winfield United Methodist Church and retired from the Bess Chisum Stephens YWCA. She attended Little Rock Junior College and graduated from Arkansas State Teachers College (now UCA) where she met her future husband Bob Weddle. They were married for 58 years until his death. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Joan Fargarson, sons Bob Weddle II and Bill Weddle. She is survived by her son, Bruce Weddle of Little Rock, daughter-in-law, Barbara Weddle of Maumelle and four grandsons, Drew Weddle, Ben Weddle, Tyler Weddle (Melissa) and Seth Weddle. Sue was an extraordinarily gifted person whose talent knew no bounds and whose personality could win over the most hard-hearted of individuals. This great lady will be missed so very much by those whose lives she touched. Burial will be at Rest Hills Memorial Park following a private graveside service. Memorials may be made to Winfield United Methodist Church, 20100 Cantrell Road, Little Rock, AR 72223, the Bess Chisum Stephens Community Center, 1200 S. Cleveland, Little Rock, AR 72204 or The Humane Society of Pulaski County, 14600 Colonel Glenn Rd, Little Rock, AR 72210.
