Susan Francis Braswell

Susan Francis Braswell September 13, 1952 - April 5, 2023 Susan Francis Braswell passed away peacefully at home with her family on April 5th, 2023. She was only 70 years old.

Susie is survived by her two daughters, Ashley Maynard and Kelly Higdon, their husbands John Maynard and Lanny Higdon along with her three beloved grandchildren Grey, Phoebe, and Myles Higdon who were so very precious to her. She will be forever remembered and loved by her younger brother, Max Clayton Francis, Jr.

Susie was predeceased by her parents, Martha Elizabeth Francis and Max Clayton Francis, Sr. as well as her only son, Kevin Harmon Braswell.

Her fun spirit and beautiful soul will continue to live on through those who loved her - knowing her passion for quilting and needlework as well as her three grandchildren - all of whom kept her extremely busy and active. They each had her heart to the fullest amount!

She had the most wonderful and contagious smile that would light up a room. She truly cared so deeply for the people who surrounded her. She loved her family beyond measure and made such a huge impact on so many lives. Needless to say, she will be forever and profoundly missed.

There will be a celebration of life held for Susie on May 13th at 2pm in the Mount Tabor Methodist Church Memorial Garden.
