Susan Elizabeth Butz

Susan Elizabeth Butz (Case) passed away Sunday April 20, 2025 at the age of 81 in Redlands, CA. She was born in Los Angeles, CA. on September 21st, 1943 to Allen and Pauline Case. Later they moved to San Bernardino, CA, where she spent the majority of her adult life.

Susan had a deep connection to family and friends, and LOVED to entertain! There was always room for one more at the table in her house. Because she was of Italian descent, she loved to cook everything Italian and had many stories and fond memories of family members from the past. Those who ate always heard her say "Mangia Mangia" to prompt everyone to head to the the dinner table. Her love of Italy showed throughout her home. She also cherished her puppy dogs, who were loved "fur baby" family members.

She attended St. Bernardine's Catholic School in San Bernardino, CA, where she met her future husband, Mike Butz. They got married and raised two children.

Susan is survived by her son Curt Butz and daughter-in-law Anita of Menifee, CA. and her daughter Monica McAlpine and son-in-law Mitch of Beaumont, CA. She is also survived by her sister, Nancy Prokop of Tucson, AZ. She had three grandchildren, David, Rachael and Marc.
