I was shocked to hear of Susy's passing. My strong memories of over thirty years that stand out is the lovely company of Susy, a smile and always ready for a dance, anywhere from a RnR club, Workingmen's club or an old favourite, The McGills Bar in Thorndon. You could dance the night away and still keep going. May you continue to do that on the other side. I have always enjoyed your friendship. Go in peace. Robert Young

Very sorry to hear of Susy's passing, hadn't seen her on Wednesdays at the Chocolate Frog Miramar for a few weeks and was wondering what she was up to, so surprised to hear this news. The last few times I had talked to her she had been there with the grandchildren, her regular lunch friends and seemed full of life. Deepest sympathy to family, especially Sian who I remember from RnR at Harbour City.
Condolences Steve and Linda Conway

So sorry Susys life was cut short by cancer so suddenly it was only weeks ago I had a good phone chat with her. My life will not be the same without Susy in it, i met Susy through Rock n roll and we just clicked once I realized she was a fun party animal and wonderful person.
There are so many magic moments I had with Susy whether on the dance floor or at our regular coffee catch ups in garden Cafe in jville. Suys Island bay house was the castle street of Island bay great parties. Will miss you always but never forget the precious memories. Sending love to Sian, kids and family thinking dearly of you as you heal and grieve xx
