Susan Rubalcaba Jacquez

September 19, 1957 - June 6, 2025

Susan Rubalcaba Jacquez, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and devoted follower of Christ, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2025, after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was 67 years old.

Born on September 19, 1957, in Dinuba California, Susan was orphaned on her second birthday when her parents tragically died in a car accident. Despite this early loss, Susan lived a life full of love, grace, and unwavering faith in Jesus Christ. Raised in Cutler, CA, and later moving to Visalia as a teenager, she graduated from Redwood High School in 1975 and attended College of the Sequoias, where she met her future husband, Gabriel Jacquez. They married on February 10, 1979, and shared 46 loving years together.

Susan was a devoted stay-at-home mother to her three children-Immanuel, James, and Gabriann-whom she raised with love, strength, and a deep foundation of faith. She was also a proud and adoring grandmother to Lucy Cantu and Grace Cantu. Her life was a testimony to the love of Christ. Susan touched countless hearts through her kindness, her strength, and her steadfast belief in the goodness of God. She led others to faith not with loud words, but through the gentle witness of her life.

Susan was more than a mother and grandmother-she was a loving aunt and a mother figure to many people. Susan had a special gift of making everyone she met feel seen, valued, and loved. She remembered everyone's birthday and was present for every event big or small for her family and loved ones. Her home and heart were always open, and she delighted in bringing her family together. Her sense of humor, contagious laughter, and fun-loving nature brought light to every gathering. To know her was to love her.

Susan is survived by her loving husband Gabriel, her three children, and her brother Larry Rubalcaba. She is now joyfully reunited in heaven with the parents she never had the chance to know on Earth-a reunion she longed for her entire life.

Her family takes comfort in knowing that Susan is now in the presence of her Savior, at peace and made whole. She will be deeply missed, but her legacy of faith, love, and strength will live on in all who knew her. Her life honored God, and now she rests in His eternal presence.

"Well done, my good and faithful servant." - Matthew 25:21

A funeral service will be held at Salser and Dillard Funeral Chapel in Visalia, CA on Wednesday, June 19, 2025, at 10:30 a.m., followed by a graveside burial at 12:00 p.m. at Visalia Cemetery.

Susan's memory will live on in the hearts of her family and all who were blessed to know her. Her family rejoices knowing she is now in Jesus' eternal care.
