Susan was preceded in death by her parents and her son Minor Lee Carter III of Largo, Florida.
Susan is survived by her granddaughter Brianna L. Chatterton-Carter (Michael Peralta, fiancé) and her two great grandchildren, Elijah Peralta and Melanie Peralta of St. Petersburg, Florida, her brother John C. Johnson, Huntsville, Alabama, her sisters Karen Johnson Wolfsheimer (Frank) of Micanopy, Florida and Jo Anne Johnson Clower (Cameron) of Birmingham, Alabama, her nephews Chandler Clower, Graysville, Alabama and Jonathan Clower of Birmingham, Alabama.
There will be a private family service.
