Susan Johnson Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 3, 2025.
Susan Mueller Johnson (8/29/50-2/28/25) of Fridley, MN, age 74, is now resting peacefully after succumbing to chronic lymphocytic leukemia. A loving mother, a devoted grandmother, a welcoming friend, and a beloved sister were only some of her roles. She was an accomplished harp player and enjoyed banquet serving as well. Everyone who knew her knew how much she loved food and serving people. A good conversationalist, she drew people in and made them feel welcome. She poured her life into her family and grandchildren, teaching them about gardening, cooking, crafting, music, her faith, and how to enjoy the simple things in life. "Riding vehicles" in grandma's driveway or helping pick flower bouquets will be memories her grandchildren will hold onto. She is survived by her three children Robin Thibaut, James Johnson, and Lindsey Davison and their spouses as well as her seven grandchildren: Sammy, Melina, Ruby, Alex, Zoey, Erin, and Miles. She is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Gluek and Georgianna Mary Mueller and is survived by her siblings, Ginny Price, Bob (JoAnne) Mueller, and Janet (Tom) Palermo. A private gathering for friends and family will be held on April 6, 2025.

My sincere condolences to the entire family of my dear friend Sue. Sue was a very dear, so sweet and a kind true friend to me! I was so blessed to have known her. We first met at our church in Shoreview which she attended faithfully every Sabbath prior to getting sick.
Sue was a strong believer, she loved Jesus with all her heart. Her faith truly encouraged me. I will miss a prayer walk partner ! There´s no time that Sue and spent together without a prayer.
I can´t wait to see her in that resurrection morning when Jesus returns .

So sorry to hear about your mom, Robin. I have such sweet memories of her and remember fondly going to her/your home. I think of her harp playing, flowers and beautiful yard, and enjoying a good hot beverage. She was fun to chat with. Praying for you as you miss her.

The entire Vincent family extends our sincere condolences to the family of Susan. I enjoyed seeing her at her dad's celebration of life. Over the years we had great fun at the family picnics and gatherings with Susan playing the harp. We can all enjoy the many fond memories she left us with. May God bless her in heaven. Best regards to all, Stephen Vincent

As you know, your mom was a very special neighborhood friend. I'm blessed to have known her. I enjoyed our spontaneous walks and bike rides. We'd share our family stories, faith stories and sweet treats (monster cookies and root beer floats). Her yard and home were so well kept. I admire her strength, courage and faith this past year. I miss her and hope to meet again in heaven.
My heartfelt condolences to your family.

I am so sorry for your families loss. She was a true treasure here on earth. Mamma Susan´s welcoming spirit, harp playing and crab salad sandwiches that Lindsey and I would trade at the lunch table is always a special memory of mine. Thankful for her legacy and her daughter Lindsey who was a sweet friend of mine. We had many memories in her home growing up. Thankful for her love for Jesus. Rest well beautiful Susan. Beautiful soul.

Sue was a dear friend to me and my family. She made life so much fun. She was my harp buddy who was so creative and courageous to try new things. Sue welcomed me, and out harp group
into her home for lots of joy filled harp meetings.. She often made beautiful cards with her ability to craft handmade things. She laughed and smiled and was a very special friend to me. I will miss her and know we will meet in Heaven someday!

I'm so sorry to hear this. I haven't been in touch with your mom for so many years, but the one thing I remember is how much her family meant to her. Treasure those sweet memories in your heart.

Sue was a dear friend to me in few short years we knew each other. We met at church and quickly became friends, walking buddies, and prayer partners. She was a joy to spend time with, always wonderful things to share about her family and how much she loved her kids and grandkids, most of all her love of Jesus. Sue had a faith that I admire and her courage and strength in the Lord was remarkable. She will be truly missed. My sympathy and love to her family.
