Susan Reine Richburg Kinville, 59, passed away on August 2, 2025, at Springfield Health and Rehabilitation in Springfield, Vermont.

She was born on August 19, 1965, in Manning, South Carolina, the daughter of Clarence Douglas Richburg and Avis Jean Richburg.

Susan was the beloved wife of Dean Kinville. They were married on September 12 in Manning, South Carolina, and shared many meaningful years together.

Susan dedicated much of her life to caring for and supporting children. She worked for many years as a paraprofessional in special education across several school districts, where her compassion and patience made a lasting impact. She was also a devoted house parent at Kurn Hattin Homes, a residential school for children in Vermont, where she provided love, structure, and kindness to those in her care.

Outside of work, Susan found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved relaxing outdoors in the sun, watching the dogs play nearby. She had a deep appreciation for music of all kinds and treasured time spent watching classic movies with her family.

Susan was predeceased by her parents, Clarence and Jean Richburg; her husband, Dean Kinville; and her daughter, Samantha Kinville.

She is survived by her children: Ashley Dennis (Eli McCormick), Amy Dennis, Reine Richburg (Jairod Shoemaker), and Joseph Kinville. She also leaves behind three beloved grandchildren: Kyle Dennis, Skylar McCormick, and Megan McCormick.

At this time, no formal services will be held. A private remembrance will be held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Springfield Health and Rehabilitation, Springfield, Vermont, in Susan's honor.
