Susan Ann Lawson

While sleeping peacefully on her favorite couch she had for many years, our mama Susan Ann Lawson, aka Stinky, aged 75, left us on Earth to be with her mama & daddy (she loved them so much) & our Lord in Heaven. Rest in Peace with all our family & friends, ma. Relax. Enjoy your view. We feel your love here & we rejoice to you, our Angel.

Born to her father Israel Lawson & mother Ida Hicks in Brinkley, Arkansas on April 13, 1950.

Susan had a niche for the arts & crafts. She enjoyed quilting/sewing, crocheting, reading long books quickly, putting together many piece puzzles over extended periods of time. Music stayed a consistent part of her whole life. She jammed out when the drums played. In her latter years she grew fond of nature & the greenery. The surrounding animals off her porch's view she bonded with the horses, donkeys, cows, birds & butterflies. Mama had the best sense of humor & could make a joke out of anything too serious. Her lighthearted, easy going spirit will forever be missed. Her love for her loved ones was so strong, she taught us to love hard. Reached out to connect with each other because she admired catching up. Her favorite stories will stay embedded in my mind and we can continue to tell those stories together to carry on Susan's legacy.

We celebrate your life. When a butterfly flutters by, you are thought about and we say hi. We know you want to be here with us, traveling, but now you can see everything from where you sit, ma. Thank you for everything & for watching over us.

Susan is preceded in death by her father Israel & her mother Ida, her brothers Rayford & Joe, her sister Maxine. She is survived by her brother Blu & sister Alice, her son Jason & her daughter Whitney, her husband & Susan's son-in-law Nathan & A proud Grammy to their three children Aiden, Ella, Penelope. As well as many cousins, nephews, & nieces.

Susan's ashes will be spread out at her mama's & daddy's grave in Arkansas per her request.
