Susan Renee Seigel (Rosen)

Greenville - Susan Renee Seigel (Rosen) passed away on June 7, 2023, at the age of 70 in Spartanburg, SC. She was born on October 8, 1952, in Philadelphia, PA, to Henry and Chickie Rosen. Susan graduated from York Suburban High School in 1970 and received a degree in theatre arts from the University of Miami in 1974.

Susan was a woman of many passions, including her love for family, theater, and music. She was highly active in the York Little Theatre and the JCC of York, where she shared her talents and made many cherished memories.

Susan is survived by her daughters, Alyson Gilbert and Randi Gilbert (Juan Hernandez), and her beloved grandsons, Aiden, Noah, and Dax Hernandez. She is also survived by her brothers, Ronnie Rosen (Marcia) and Eric Rosen (Elyce), along with several nephews and a niece. Susan was preceded in death by her loving husband, Eddie Seigel, and her nephew, Josh Rosen.

A celebration of Susan's life will be held on July 9, 2023, at Temple Beth Israel, located at 2090 Hollywood Dr, York, PA 17403, at 12:00 noon. Friends and family are welcome to attend and pay their respects to a cherished member of the community.

In lieu of flowers, Susan's family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made in her name to the American Cancer Society. Susan's life was one of love, passion, and dedication, and she will always be remembered for her unwavering spirit and kind heart. May she rest in peace.
