I went to high school and junior high with Susan where we were great friends. I remember fun sleepovers at her house and other adventures. When I moved to Denver in 1970, I stayed with her and she helped me find an apartment and was a thoughtful friend for many years. I have many fond memories of her. Barb Beiter Bieber.

Susie and I had the most amazing friendship for a mere 67 years! It was a privilege to grow old together. I admired her intellect, her talents, her warmth, and her grit. I am going to miss her terribly. -Shelley (Handler) Buckholdt

I am so sorry to hear of Susan´s passing. She was such a nice lady. I wish we had lived closer so I could have gotten to know her better. Her mother, Velma, and my grandfather, John Behrens, were siblings. I´m am sending my deepest condolences to her daughters and their families during this difficult time.
With love,

My dear friend, I will miss our everyday conversations. You and so could talk about anything. I appreciate your wisdom and your support for the last 18 years. I will always remember our adventures in Hollywood and Disneyland. I love you, Matey
