Susie Vick Obituary
Susie will be remembered as a remarkable woman. A true jack-of-all-trades -cook like a chef, repair like a mechanic, and sew like a designer. Her strength, wisdom, and fierce independence inspired all who knew her. She was the kind of woman who didn't wait for someone else to fix it -- she rolled up her sleves and got it done!
She is survived by her loving daughter, Teresa Brooks; granddaughters, Erica Brooks and Temara Tucker; and great-grandson, Juelz Dickens. She also leaves behind her devoted sister, Clara Exum, and brother, Samuel P. Vick. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Arthur and Lucy Vick.
Susie was more than a mother-she was Teresa's teacher, teammate, and SHE-RO. Together, they created, laughed, and loved, with Susie's unmatched talent and Teresa's loyal support making them an unforgettable duo.
Family will receive relatives and friends as we join in celebrating her life at the viewing, which will be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at 11:00 AM at 145 Tennis Avenue, Ambler PA 19002. For questions please contact 215-348-9421.

"My partner in crime, from doing my hair to being my main rider, picking me up and dropping me off, early mornings and late nights. And that green thumb? I got that from her."
"She wasn't just my grandma- my birthday twin, and my forever rider. Whenever my mama couldn't be there, Grandma stepped in without hesitation-doctor appointments, school activities, trips-she showed up every single time. We shared sweet memories flying kites, doing puzzles and sneaking midnight popcorn when she got home from work, letting me crawl right into bed with her. She loved me in all the ways that mattered, and I'd give anything to go back to those moments."

Oh my dear aunt Susie.I remember all the summers we spent together.You taught me how to crochet and I remember the love you have for plants and flowers and to this day, I love a plant.

"Aunt Susie", as she was affectionately known was such a blessing to my childhood. Personable, funny, kind, loving and a great cook is how I remember her. She shared her wisdom with us girl nieces during our summer visits and taught us many lessons, like ear-piercing using "sleepers", sewing, hygiene and overall self-care. My aunt Susie was everything to me! She was a beautiful lady inside and outside. She was the sweetest and kindest person one could ever meet. She loved myself and my sisters like her own children. We spent many summers in her home and she loved and cared for us.
We loved her beautiful fish aquarium with all the wonderful colorful fish that she cared for and maintained so beautifully. She even gave us some of her fish to take home with us to start our own aquarium.
My aunt Susie was so talented! Her cooking and baking skills were unmatched. She was a professional seamstress. She could sew a garment or reupholster a sofa like a boss.
Aunt Susie loved her daughter Teresa and her grand children with all of her heart. She was an amazing loving mom and grandmother.
Heaven gained a beautiful angel! Aunt Susie will always live in my heart for I loved her so very much! Rest in heaven aunt Susie.
