In Loving Memory of Suzanne Cullum

On Monday, August 4th, 2025, Suzanne Cullum passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She resided in Acton, Ma, though her roots were planted in the town where she was born and raised, Braintree, Ma.

Sue was the beloved daughter of Jean Daly and the late Harold Daly. She was a devoted sister to her brother Stephen Daly, his wife Dona Daly and late sister Christine Jones. She is survived by her son, Andrew Cullum, his wife Alex Cullum and her two grandsons, Eamon and Isaac, who brought her deep pride and joy. Not only was Sue a daughter, sister, mother, grandma and treasured aunt to her nieces and nephews, her circle extended beyond family, she was a loyal friend to many.

For those lucky enough to know Sue, she was a quiet but steady presence, thoughtful listener, and a generous spirit. In the background of so many of life's best moments, she brought warmth, humor, and an uncanny ability to make others feel loved.

Sue found meaning in the details and joy in the simple things: a perfectly played word in Scrabble, a Cape Cod sunset, the sound of waves on the shore, or the magic of a holiday tradition shared with loved ones. Her love for animals, especially her pups, was only rivaled by the way she loved people: quietly, fiercely, and deeply.

In honor of Suzanne's memory, please consider taking a quiet walk by the ocean, donating to an animal rescue or performing a small act of kindness, just because. That's how she gave love, and that's how she would want to be remembered.
