Sylvia Shroyer Obituary
Sylvia graduated from Grafton High School and went on to have a fulfilling career at W.W. Grainger. Known for her gentle and soft-spoken nature, she was a loving wife to her husband of 70 years, Smith (affectionately known as Smitty or Jr.), a devoted mother to her children Ron and Ronda (Steve), and a doting grandmother to Christina and Alyssa.
Sylvia and Smitty frequently returned home to Grafton as they raised their family, and had great fondness for their hometown. After retiring, they traveled the world: From China, to an African safari, to standing on a glacier. They made the most of their time together. She also found joy in simple pleasures, especially when baking amazing banana bread and legendary cheesecake. She relished her time reading, indulging in chocolate, and playing Rummikub-a game where she often triumphed over her husband, much to her delight. These moments epitomized Sylvia's love for life and family.

She was a wonderful Mom to Ron and me. We were so happy to be able to celebrate her and Dad´s 70th wedding anniversary this past April. She will be missed.
