Sylvia Young Obituary
Sylvia is survived by her daughter, Jane; sons, Robert (Teresa) and James (Karen); grandchildren, Tyler (Jenny), Teresa (Anthony), Austin (Lauren), and Alexis (Conor); and great-grandchildren, Carmen, DeClan, Maddox, Lucas, and Aspen. She is also survived by her brother, Lyn (Mildred) Bully, as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Sylvia was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, William R. Young Jr.; their son, William R. Young III; parents, Margaret and Henry Bully; in-laws, Crescentia and William Young Sr.; and brother Walter Bully.
A lifelong lover of music and celebration, Sylvia enjoyed attending Summerfest, State Fair, and local church festivals. Her passion for country music led her to many concerts and road trips to Nashville. A devoted Chicago Bears fan, she spent numerous pre-seasons in Platteville watching her team practice.
Sylvia found joy in simple pleasures-taking walks, spending time with her children and grandchildren, and basking in the sunshine by the pool. Her faith was an important part of her life as a member of St. Agnes in Butler, Wisconsin.
During her time at Auberge Oak Village, Sylvia's spunky personality and zest for life left a lasting impression on her caretakers and fellow residents.
Her memory will continue to bring warmth to those who knew her.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025 at Holy Cross Chapel from 10:00 am to Noon with a short service to follow. Address is: 7301 W. Nash Street, Milwaukee WI 53216
