Tammy Dunlevy McGaughey, 42, of Bergholz, OH, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 13, 2009 after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Born November 5, 1966 in Steubenville, OH, she was a daughter of Brady Russell Dunlevy, Sr. of Steubenville and the late Lois Stanley Dunlevy. Tammy owned and operated Dunlevy Tax and Accounting in Weirton. She was a 1985 graduate of Jefferson Union High School, attended Kent State University and received her accounting degree from the University of Steubenville. She attended the Richmond United Methodist Church and was an active member of the Weirton Area Chamber of Commerce. Tammy enjoyed all water sports and traveling with her family. In addition to her father, Tammy is survived by her husband Thomas E. McGaughey, Sr. of Bergholz, whom she married June 20, 1997; sons Tyler McGaughey of Bergholz and Tommy McGaughey, Jr. of Follansbee, WV; daughter Tiffany McGaughey of Bergholz; brother Brady Dunlevy, Jr. and his two sons, Brady III, and Skylar of Barefoot Bay, Florida; sister Debbie Dunlevy Bielawski, her husband Lawrence and their children Savannah, Larry, Haley and Payton of Pittsburgh, PA; grandmother Lola Stanley and Uncle Richard Stanley both of Amsterdam, OH. Friends will be received Friday from 2-4 and 6-8PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton where funeral services will be conducted at 11AM Saturday. Pastor Carol Smith will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
