Tara Farrell Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jul. 25, 2024.
Nashville - Tara Marie Farrell, 41, passed too soon on July 20, 2024.

She lived fiercely and always led with a sense of adventure. She was hilarious, caring and stylish as hell.

Tara was born in Austin and repped Texas and Austin always. She grew up determined to be a stylist and realized her dream after graduating from cosmetology school in 2008 and establishing a client base in Seattle.

Tara's adventurous spirit took her from Austin to College Station, Kentucky, Hawaii, Seattle and Nashville. She always did what her heart told her. She also traveled as much as she could, most of the time with her best travel buddy, Miranda Myers.

Tara was proud of her professional accomplishments, but she was most proud of her son, Billie Bizzle, a Scottish terrier, whom she loved more than anything. He was with her for so many of her travels and always made her happy.

Tara always wanted to give you a tour of her city or her garden. She loved spending time with her friends and family; there was never a dull moment.

She is survived on her mother's side by her mother, Mary Chisholm; sister Clair (Derek) Croslin; grandmother Malvana; aunts Ann (Kate), Jean (Steve), Carol (Matt) and Bonnie; cousins Glenna, Ash and Audrey; and niece and nephew Miriam and Llewelyn. She is survived on her father's side by her father, Mike (Kathryn) Farrell; siblings Devin and Allie Farrell; uncles Steve and Rich; and cousins Maizey, Haize, Lyric, Wiley, Rylnn, Andrew, Ashley, Alayna, Brandon, Ryan, Taryn, Lauren, Cody, Tyler, and Austin. Tara was preceded in death by grandparents Tom, Jackie and Dick; and uncle and aunt Dan and Ellen.

The family asks for donations to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee (https://bgcmt.org/donate) or the Texas Scottie Rescue Fund (https://www.texasscottierescue.com/donate) in lieu of flowers.

Tara was my first friend in Nashville. She initiated the friendship with her outgoing personality, like I´m sure she did with many others. I was lucky enough to share a lot of good moments and laughs with her and Billy. I miss her so much but I know she´s so happy to be reunited.
