OBERLIN — Taylor Isaac Wynn Sr., 59, of Oberlin, died Sunday, Aug. 2, 2015, at Candlewood Park, East Cleveland, Ohio, after a long illness.
Born Dec. 13, 1955, he was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Oberlin. He was a graduate of Oberlin High School and Lorain County Community College as a computer technologist. He was a veteran of the Army in 1972. He owned and operated Mr. T's Car Care in Dallas, Texas, at the age of 28. Taylor enjoyed karate while in the Army, all sports, especially baseball, and most of all spending time with his mother and family.
He is survived by his mother, Mary B. Wynn-Mayle of Oberlin; daughters Misty Peto, Tanesha Wynn, and Taylene Wynn; sons Joshua Peto and Taylor Wynn Jr.; seven grandchildren; sisters Saundra M. (Bobby) Fenn Alston and Shirley A. Valentine Davis; brothers Bryan Wynn, Alvin Wynn, and David Moore; stepsisters Pam Davis and Mayble Williams; stepbrother Charles, Michael and Jimmy Mayle; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Sidney Wynn Jr.; and sisters Charlene Noble and Rita Seavers.
Visitation will be Friday, Aug. 7 from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Oberlin, with the Rev. Fred L. Bell officiating. Interment will be at New Russia Township Cemetery.
