Teresa 'Tera' (O'Shea) Hohmann LAWRENCEVILLE- Teresa (O'Shea) "Tera" Hohmann, 54, of Lawrenceville died Sunday, Nov. 14, 2010, in the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, after a long and very brave fight. Born in Trenton, she resided in Lawrenceville for most of her life. Tera graduated from high school in 1973 as a member of the first class of the Hun School of Princeton to include female students. A graduate of Rider College, Class of 1978, she was a teacher at St. Paul's School in Princeton for over 10 years. Teaching young children was such a great joy to her that in 1994 she opened her own preschool, "Tera's Cottage School." She then worked for the Mercer County Library System from 2002 until 2007. Always a lover of animals, she had many pets and was an avid equestrian. She is survived by her loving husband, Larry Hohmann; her beloved daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Michael De Gaglia; her parents, Charles and Eleanor O'Shea; her mother and father in-law, Frank and Virginia Hohmann; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Michael and Lea O'Shea, Patrick and Donna O'Shea, and Brian and Catherine O'Shea; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Charlene and Patrick Anderson and Ellen and Scott Brown; two brothers-in-law and a sister-in-law, Frank and Kristen Hohmann, and Jay Hohmann; two grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Ashlyn De Gaglia, who were the joy of her life, and many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. Tera was a beautiful person with a radiant smile and a heart of gold. She was happiest when with her two granddaughters. She was an inspiration to all who knew her and will be deeply missed by her family and many friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 19, 2010, at St. Paul's Church, 214 Nassau St., Princeton. Burial will be private. I just found out about Tera. She asnd I spent time together at our senior year at The Hun School talking about so much. I last saw her at a Hun reunion and danced with her. I shall never forget her. The world has lost much with her passing.

Larry, we just heard this sad news and we are stunned and saddened that we won't be able to share more time with Tera. We can only imagine the loss you feel, knowing how much she meant to you. Please know that we will keep you both in our hearts and in our prayers. We feel fortunate to have known Tera, she was the bravest, most genuine person and indeed a lot of fun to be around. She will greatly missed.
With love, Shawn & John Barbour
