Teresa Nelson Obituary
Teresa (Schiltz) Nelson, 88, formerly of Rochester, Mankato and Apple Valley, died on March 27, 2015. Teresa was June 7, 1926. Preceded in death by parents William & Madge Schiltz, husband, Lloyd A. Nelson; son, Jeffrey and brothers John, George and Paul. Survived by sons, Lanny (Terry) and Steven (Kathleen), daughter-in-law, Julie; 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Teresa formerly owned Henny Penny Maternity Shop in Mankato and was an employee of IBM Rochester. She travelled all over the United States and enjoyed dogs, cats and visiting casinos. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, April 20th at 11 a.m. at St. Bridget of Sweden Catholic Church, 13060 Lake Blvd, Lindstrom. Gathering starting at 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass. Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Alzheimer's Association.
Teresa's family express a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Meadows on Fairview Assisted Living, Wyoming MN, and Fairview Hospice, for the compassionate care and friendship they provided.
