Kennewick, Washington - Terry passed away Sunday September 4th 2022 in his daughter's home in Kennewick Washington.
He passed peacefully with help from Tri Cities Chaplaincy with family by his side.
Terry was born on July 16th 1950 in Hermiston Oregon to parents Margaret and Roger Liedtke. His mother Margaret remarried to Walter Liebe who raised Terry and his siblings from young ages.
After Terry graduated from Hermiston High School in 1969, he joined the Army in California and later moved to Pendleton Oregon and became a Labor for the Labors Union. He met his wife Sharon Lee Adams as she drove past him while he worked outside one day. Her daughter Alissa recalls her comment "I'm going to marry that man, right there"
And she did December 3rd 1981 in Pendleton Oregon.
Terry enjoyed hunting year by year with The Clarks. Jimmy and Terry have many stories of those days. Later in life he shelved the sport of hunting and began fishing with longtime friend Dana Martin. He also enjoyed visiting with his longtime friend Ray Oly from Hermiston Oregon
In September of 1996 Terry had a tragic car accident, which shifted his focus more to home life, having two adorable grandkids Ella Rose and Samuel Fletcher. That's what brought him and his wife Sherry the most pleasure. They lived for their grandbabies.
Tragically and unexpectedly, Sherry passed away three days after their 26th anniversary on
December 6th 2007. Left so broken hearted and incomplete. His daughter, his two grandkids and himself found the strength within each other to carry on without Sherry. Terry continued to reside in the Pilot Rock Oregon home he and his wife shared and watched their grandkids grow up in. He retired in 2012, and focused on his woodworking hobby. Until January 2022 when his health began declining, Alissa and her husband Brad brought Terry to their ranch in Kennewick.
Terry is survived by his daughter Alissa Adams (Brad), Grandkids Ella Rose and Samuel Fletcher all of Kennewick Washington and his sister Patricia Duvall (Gene), sister-in-law Jill Liedtke (Larry)
step sibling John Liebe (Martha) and lots of nieces and nephews.
Terry was proceeded in death by his wife Sherry Lee Adams Liedtke,
parents Margaret & Walt Liebe, Roger Liedtke and sadly his brother Larry Liedtke
