THELMA (EVERETTE)
Age 95, of Schenley Heights, passed away tragically on January 29, 2014. Beloved wife for 31 years to the late Morgan Witherspoon; mother of Willetta McNeil; loving sister of Katie Everette Johnson and the late Walter, Herman, Agnes, Charles, Lizzie, and Jesse Everette; also survived by five grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, her church family and friends. A private graveside service for the family will be held in the Allegheny Cemetery prior to the Public Memorial Service and Reception on Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Bethel A.M.E. Church, 2720 Webster Ave., Pgh., PA 15219.

We will surely miss Mother Thelma. I can't begin to find words to express my appreciation and love for her. We spoke on Monday, 1/20/14 at Bethel AME during MLK Celebration and shared memories when Mother prepared meals for The Mother 2 Son Families. Mother was Faithful, Diligent, Loving, Giving, Caring and Constant. .. she never missed serving the single moms and the children. . MOTHER WE LOVE YOU... THE FULTON - MILLINER FAMILY

Mrs. Witherspoon (Ms. Spoon)......I shall always remember your love and dedication to church and family. Your love and support of my parents and my siblings.
When I was old enough to get a perm.....my mother sent me to you, up the street from our home on Wylie Ave. You were my first beautician...I was eleven. I was excited and happy !!! Thanks for always giving me an excellent cut and style.
