Theodore Delano Carl of Bear Creek Township, PA and Gold Canyon, AZ passed away on Thursday, March 14, surrounded by his family. Originally from Bloomsburg, PA, Ted was a longtime resident of Littleton, CO. His personal motto was, "Remember each one of us can make a difference, everyday," and he certainly did in the lives of many.
The consummate banker, with a sharp mind for numbers, Ted led and managed numerous banks and brokerage houses throughout New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Colorado. He spent more than 10 years at ADP, most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of ADP-SIS in Wheat Ridge, CO prior to retirement. For the past ten years, he provided consulting services to First Southwest Company in Dallas, TX.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Ted's memory to Faith Lutheran Church of Blakeslee, PA or to St. Joseph's Center in Scranton, PA in memory of both Ted and Stephen Carl. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 22 at 11 a.m. at Advent Lutheran Church located at 1601 Green Lane, West Chester, PA. Arrangements will be handled by William H. Clark Funeral Home; 1003 Main Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360.

It has been many years since we last saw Ted. We were fellow members with Ted at Advent Lutheran in West Chester, PA. We remember his loving devotion to his son, Stephen, his kindness to everyone, and his great sense of humor. I remember playing with Stephen as he played on a blanket in Advent's social hall while Ted attended meetings after church. We shall keep Ted, Stephen, and the entire Carl family in our prayers. God bless you. Faith Ann and Scott Vining

Sandi and family, it truly was an honor meeting Ted and becoming part of his Family! Ted was a great man, taken from us too soon. Bob and I had some good talks with Ted and fun card games! He will be missed so much. Now Ted is with God and looking down guiding us with his wisdom and love. Our prayers and thoughts are with you during this difficult time.
Love,
Bob & Debi Vincelette

The first time we went to meet Ted at his beloved daughter Amanda's apartment in Danbury just about a year ago, we felt we had known him for ever. He was totally warm, full of knowledge and extremely smart. With Amanda's mom and brother Christopher there, we talked so much, that in the end, we did not want to stop. We talked from life to career; from business excellence to operations; from mainframe computers to logistics; from the evolution of technology to the imagination of life in the future. We talked about how proud we all were of Amanda. So appreciated it that Ted sat straight up and even stood up during this entire family like meet, despite his medical situation that he should have sat back into the chair. The Carl family was full of love and sunshine. Knowing we were tea drinkers, Ted and his family brought us a wonderful tea set that we cherish and use in our daily life. That first meet with Ted was also our last time to see him in this life. He forever lives on our mind and in our hearts. – Mark and Louisa
