Theresa " Terri " A. Feathers, 43, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, March 18th, 2008 at home.Terri was born in Verdun, France on January 13, 1965, she was the daughter of Karen L. (Cardwell) Feathers and Jerry L. Whitmer. She moved back to the United States as an infant and had resided in Batavia, Niagara Falls, prior to moving to Sanborn, NY as a child. She attended the former Pekin Elementary School and Lewiston Porter High School. She was a graduate of Niagara County Community College in 1994. Terri was a secretary in the Engineering Department at NYS Parks Recreation and Historic Preservation Niagara Falls, NY for the last 7 years and has been with the NYS Parks for 20 years. She was a member of the PEF Association. Terri loved the outdoors, she loved gardening, animals, collecting dragon flies and nature.Her great personality and compassion for others will always be rembered. She will be sadly missed by all of her close friends.Surviving in addition to her parents, are her best friends, Fran J. Bue and Beaulicious, her dog, two sisters, Vicki M. [ Dennis ] Feathers-Bell, Andrea L. Feathers, a brother Paul M.[ Nichole ] Feathers, Jr., niece Christina Feathers, nephews, Joshua Bell and Jared Feathers.The family will be present on Friday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 8:30 PM at RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, SANBORN, 5893 Hoover Road, where funeral services will be held at 8:30 PM. Should friends desire in lieu of flowers, memorials in Terri's memory may be made to Erie County SPCA 205 Ensminger Road Tonawanda, NY 14150.Visit www.rhoneyfuneralhome.com, for guest register.
