Therese Marie Sheltren, 64, of Seattle, WA, passed away on August 1, 2023. She was born on October 22, 1958. Therese was a beloved member of her community, known for her kindness and gentle spirit. My heart breaks over the loss of this sweet and wonderful woman who had been my friend for over 50 years. I will love her forever and always remember fondly all the great times we had together and even the trouble we got into when we were kids. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family, especially to Gus, Shane, Shawn and Greg. I know your hearts are hurting. I wish you all peace and hope you find comfort not only from the memories you have of her, but also from each other. Share those memories and the love you have for Therese with her sweet baby granddaughter. Her grandma loved her so very much. Rest in peace dear friend.

just came across a link on Ancestry.com link to say Therese and I are distant relatives, 4th-6th cousins. I don't know the family link. Be assured there's a little candle burning here on the west coast of Ireland to honour her spirit and I'll include her in Mass this Sunday DV. May she rest in peace. I am lucky, Therese is my younger sister. I am the oldest sibling. I knew her whole life. She came into my world when I was one year and twelve days old. She changed my life. First, I was jealous of her, how dare someone take away mom time from me. Then I fell in love with her happy spirit, and I admired her from that time forward. Now my world will never be the same. I love and dearly miss Therese. She was the last of my close family. I'll see you again Therese, save me a seat next to you at home, there is nobody that I would rather sit next to in eternity. Then you can show me around just like I was able to for you here on earth. I love you Therese, my world will never be the same without you in it.
