Theron Henry Pace

PACE Theron Henry Pace, age 79, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Friday, December 21, 2007 surrounded by family at Mississippi Hospice Ministries. He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Patricia Collins Pace; seven children include: T. Mark Pace, Patricia Kay Pace, Elizabeth Pace Lamson, Robert Wyatt Pace, Chalmers Collins Pace, Jann Pace Barker, and Rebekah Pace Falgout; eight grandchildren: Alex, Natalie, Bryan, Ashlee, Collins, Mary Elizabeth, Andrew and Milla; two sisters in Charleston, S.C.: Zelda Moore and Lila Mae Bartlett. He was born in Pickens S.C. on October 26, 1928 to the late Theo and Nancy Pace and also preceded in death by his younger brother, Kenneth Pace. He served in the Strategic Air Command of the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was a Scottish rite, 32nd degree Mason. A longtime faithful servant to First Baptist Church of New Orleans where he was a Deacon, Basketball Coach, worked with the Special Education Department and the Bread of Life "Feed the Hungry" program. Most recently, he was a member of Faith Baptist Church of New Orleans, where he served as a Deacon until Hurricane Katrina. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the Funeral services on Wednesday, December 26, 2007 at 12 noon with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Dr., Metairie, LA 70001. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to either Mississippi Hospice Ministries, Inc., 450 Towne Center Blvd., Ridgeland, MS 39157 or Faith Baptist Church, P.O.
