I never met Tom in fact I only hired on with CP a month ago. Every time Tom's name gets brought up in the cab it tends to lighten up a dark place reminding the crew of good times, then it darkens when reality sets in that he is gone and is going to be missed dearly

Our dear friend Pam! We are so sorry for your loss and cannot believe one of the best guys ever was taken from us all! Ron and Hilda, you must be so proud to have raised such a wonderful son!! Jane & Steve we are so sorry for your tremendous loss as Tom was such a big part of your families life! We always heard how proud he was of your children and how well they all did in Hockey! That was a big part of his life! They say everything happens for a reason, God must of had a full freight train that needed a great engineer!! So he called for the best,TOM!Unfortuneately,
his gain is our loss! Dale, Judy, Amy,Megan and Sara will miss you so much Tom! Our camping trips, the crepes and yes the strawberry dacquaries at our happy hour were the best! You were a big part of our girls lives, helping teach them the water sports they now know and do well. The sledding trips in the mountains will never be the same without you! You might be gone but will never been forgotten! Rest in peace our good friend!!!
Love Dale,Judy,Amy,Megan & Sara

Our family camping trips will never be the same without you, Tom! The kids and I have been talking about the good times we've had at the campsites - like when you taught Jayme and the girls how to make the best crepes. Or the time I heard weird noises coming from your campsite - there you were with your generator and blender making the best strawberry drinks I've ever had! Let's not forget about the bear that showed up one morning at your site. Or watching you and Pam ski or board together. We are so very sad that we will never see your smiling face or that wonderful laugh of yours. We will miss you so much Tom. Our memories will always be close to our hearts. Our family was blessed to have a brother, uncle and brother-in-law such as Tom. Tom impacted all of our lives and gave of himself everyday. The kids will miss his constant support and encouragement. Tom always took the time for each of the kids from birthday parties to music concerts and of course hockey games. Whether it was a tyke game or the Bantam AAA Western Canadian Championship he was always there. His devotion to our children was irreplaceable and he will always be remembered for the love he showed them. He will be deeply missed!
