I cannot remember a time when Tom, Tim too, and I weren't friends. It actually all began in 5th grade. I could talk to Tom about anything and I believe he felt the same. I know sometimes we talked for hours! I don't have a big memory to share...our friendship wasn't like that. It was built on the many small everyday memories of our lives.
I'm so glad I got to talk to him one last time where, yes, we talked for hours! It's so hard to imagine the world without Tom in it...it's lost some brightness and spark. Tim and the rest of the Flynn siblings, I am so sorry and I cannot imagine how you are feeling. Tom was one in ay million. His humor and generosity of spirit are unparalleled. He will live on forever in the hearts and minds of all he touched.

I met Tom in Kindergarten at Boyd School in Monroe. He was the "oldest" person in class. I'm 9 days younger, it was a big deal in 1965...lol
Tom and Tim were my good friends all thru grade school.

Tom was the best kind of friend to have!
He always made me laugh! We used to play tunes on the Flynn family piano years ago & Toms nickname became maestro! He always had kind words & made you feel special!
I will always treasure our conversations & time together! Thoughts & prayers for Toms family
