Thomas George Habib

Thomas George Habib, our beloved brother, passed away on - Monday, May 26, 2003, surrounded by his loving family. Tom was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, July 4, 1926 and earned his Journalism Degree at the University of Iowa where he was an active member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. Later, Tom served in the Korean War and came to Phoenix in 1952. His career included television direction and production and later, real estate management. Tom is survived by his four sisters, Helena, Rosie, Sharon and Christine, brothers' in-law, Nick and Steve as well as nieces Amy, Anne and Jennifer, nephews George and Stefanos. Trisagion Prayers will be Friday, May 30 at 7:00 p.m. at the St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, 4530 E. Gold Dust Ave. in Phoenix. Funeral Services will begin at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 31 at the church. Funeral arrangements have been provided through the Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary in Scottsdale.
