Thomas R. Jackson, 55, of Las Vegas, died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2007. He is survived by wife, Marci; son, Seth (Rachel Berry), Eagan, Minn.; daughter, Abby, Las Vegas; daughter Molly, Las Vegas; parents, Marguerite (Kinder) and David, Des Plaines, Ill.; brother, David (Peggy), Lakewood, Ohio; sister, Janet (Kevin) Bouers, Brodhead, Wis.; nieces, nephews, grandniece and grandnephews, and numerous cousins. Thom was in poor health for many years. Despite constant pain, he always laughed and found joy in life. He made the world a betterplace for all he met, and for many who only heard his story. MEMORIAL CELEBRATION: Saturday, Sept. 29, Palm Mortuary, 6701 N. Jones Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89131. Duluth celebration/scattering of ashes along the North Shore of Lake Superior will be planned for a later date. As a child growing up in Monticello, WI I remember Thomas to be a great father to his children. He encouraged me in many ways. It saddens me deeply to find out his passing and regret that I didn't make more of an effort to stay in touch with him and his family.
