Thomas Michaud Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jun. 23, 2024.
Thomas "Tom" Michaud, 59, of Mikado, Michigan, passed away on June 21, 2024. Born in Detroit, Michigan, on June 23, 1964. He had a deep love for the outdoors and his dogs.

Tom graduated from Carl Brablec High School and spent much of his life immersed in the outdoors. His passion for hiking, hunting, fishing, and ice fishing allowed him to form a deep connection with nature, which he shared with his dogs. Tom's love for his dogs was equally profound.

He is survived by his daughter, Paige McClorey (Michaud), son-in-law Christopher McClorey, and grandchildren Juliana, Abigail, Charles, Rebecca, and Elliot. His sister, Maureen Pann (Michaud), along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins, also survive him. Tom's long-time friend, Scott Sellke, will fondly remember the many adventures they shared. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Corinne Michaud.

Tom's life was marked by a deep appreciation for the simplicity and beauty of the natural world. His presence will be profoundly missed, but his spirit will live on in the memories cherished by his loved one.

Tom was a great person with a free spirit that shared a lot of the same interests as my mom Tammy Ward and ITom and I liked sharing strange history and he was very informed in just about everything so he would teach meTom will truly be missed

tom was a very good long time friend, sharing hunting and fishing during all times of year, we texted back and forth almost daily for many, many years...he was so proud to have recently replaced a young dog that was hit by a car out front, but found happiness once again with his new puppy...recently he told me of his planting his garden and enjoying his new adventures in the bee keepers position and the arrival of the queen bee....looking forward to life renewing this season...i am just overwhelmed with his loss so suddenly..a cherished friend with many family ties in mikado michigan..my great aunt evelyn owned the mikado tavern and tom maintained the local cemetary where we shared family ties...rest in peace my brother, i will keep the memories alive...i pray for peace to whom ever shared life with him, God bless my true old brother

I’m so deeply saddened by Tom’s passing at such a young age. He was a friend of my son in high school and spent many hours at our home in Roseville. Tom and I were friends on Facebook and we would often comment on each other’s posts. I’m so sorry. Prayers are being said for his loved ones.
