Emilia Zychowicz

Emilia Zychowicz March 27, 2021 Emilia Zychowicz, 88 of Camillus passed away peacefully on Saturday. A native of Poland, Emilia was born on October 13, 1932 to Jan and Wladyslawa Tatarski. She married the late Zdzislaw Zychowicz in 1952. Emilia lived in the Syracuse area since 1949 and retired from General Electric after nearly forty years of service. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Basilica and was a member of the Polish Home. Emilia was immensely proud of her family and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories. Her sweetness and kindness toward her family and friends will be lovingly remembered, as are the faith and courage she displayed fighting serious health issues this past year. She never gave up the struggle and allowed the angels to take her to our Lord. Emilia's grace and goodness will always be remembered and she will be missed. Emilia is survived by three children: Edward J.(Shannon) Zychowicz, of Garden City, NY; Marta Mitchell of Erie, PA; Regina Morris(Keith) of Sadona, AZ. She is also survived by five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Emilia was predeceased by her loving husband in 1993. A calling hour will be at 8:30 am, Monday at Giminski-Wysocki Funeral Home, 1320 W. Genesee Street, Syracuse. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 9:30 am at the Sacred Heart Basilica.
