NEWMAN, Thomas James – It is with great sadness we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Thomas Newman at the Sault Area Hospital on Wednesday, December 27, 2017. Devoted and loving husband of Petra of 53 years. Caring father of Christopher (Ginette), Richard (Lisa), Angelique, and Charles (Tammy). Proud and inspirational grandfather of Taryn, Cody, Jessie, Angeliquie Jr., Ashley and Dalton and great grandfather of Tommy, Phoenix and Charlotte. Step grandfather of Jesse and Charles. Dear brother of Harold (Madelyn), Dave (Verena), Robert (Helen), late Patricia Mayer (Sylva) and late Kathleen Gagnon. Predeceased by his parents Dalton and Enid Newman. Son-in-law of Hannelore Falk (late Gunter). Brother-in-law of Annemarie Vandemeer (Gabe), Gitta Miller (Brian), Beverley Campbell (Collin), Brian Falk (Patty), Carol Hollette (Greg) and Randy Falk. Thomas will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. At Tom's request, no immediate services will be held. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
