Tom is the reason I became an Episcopalian. It is as simple as that. He represented the best in Believing. He will be greatly missed.

Bill and I are very sad to hear of Uncle Tom's passing. He was such a kind, gentle, and caring man and will be sorely missed by the Niehaus family. We were able to visit him in our travels this past October and enjoyed spending precious time with him. Family always enjoyed Tom's storytelling. Our condolences to cousins Emily and Mark and their families. Heaven has gained another angel.
Love,
Lois (Niehaus Swisher)

I am sad to hear of Tom passing. Listening to him weave his message in a sermon was always delightfully inspiring and satisfying. He kept in touch after we moved from Burnsville. Simetimes I would lean on him for advice for gaining political perspective. What a dear man and adorable couple. Julie, my heart goes out to you and the family.

Cousin Julie, I am so sorry to hear of Tom's passing. I wish I had gotten down to Lexington to visit you both. I appreciated having the few conversations that Tom and I did have together. The world is a better place with people like him - and you - in it. May God bless you and your children with comfort and strength.
