Tom Halbleib
When we were teenagers (me 16, Tom 15, Ron 14) Tom´s mom, my Aunt Emma, was keeping a 1950 Chevy for when Tom turned 16, but she would let me drive it when I was staying with them. As soon as we would get to the end of their drive onto Dixie Tom would say it´s my car and I want to drive. It was, so I turned it over to him. He was so used to driving and as we all know so cocky that when he finally turned 16 and took the test for his license he flunked. And, Ron and I never let him forget it. Happy trails my friend.

I still smile at the memories of you cat-napping anywhere and everywhere, even with a room full of people! I can still see you sitting at the top of the stairs to the basement when we all gathered at mom Kane´s house and you would be sleeping! Also, when we were visiting in Lexington and you were in the recliner, sleeping, and went to cross your leg and ended up on the floor with the recliner on top of you! We do have great memories of all of our times together. You were a great husband, father, grandfather, and brother......we love you! May you be at peace and pain-free
