I wish to send my heartfelt soothing prayers to all of the Shumway children. Growing up as neighbors, baby-sitting the Shumway clan was my first job as a young teenager. A fun and happy memory of Tom was when Deborah and I were little kids and Tom used to set us on the palm of his hands and use us as weights as he marched up and down the front sidewalk. Both Tom and Dana have left me with so many happy memories. I pray that the Shumway children and grandchildren find peace in knowing that Tom is reunited eternally with his one and only True Love, his beautiful and devoted wife Dana. May God Bless the Shumway Family. My love to all of you.

To all six of the children, especially, Linda and Valerie, my next door neighbors growing up: At this time of loss may you know His compassion, His grace, His love.
I have so many memories of Tom but sure enjoyed his Indian rain dance in the front yard. He definetly had a presence about him. Remember his dog, Fritzi? Jill and I still laugh about that dog. Im so glad that Tom and I kept in touch via email. I love you Tom and I love all of his kids and his lovely wife, Dana. I will truly miss him.
With sympathy and thanks for the memories.....Deborah (Metro)Langley
