Nanna, you and Papa were always so good to us. And you two went through so much together more than any two should ever. He was what some consider a John Wayne but he was just Papa warm hearted and his laughter over the phone warmed my heart no matter my mood. I am sorry I didn’t make it down there to see him . My thoughts go out to all of you . Nanna I love you to pieces and please get a hold of me so I know you are ok. Thank you Papa for all the love you gave when you didn’t have to XoXo

Grandpa Tom,
My heart is so broken. You and Nanna pretty much adopted me and my kids almost 19 years ago . Hard to believe it has been that long. I remember all the struggles you went through and still you fought with that Texas heart. It saddens me I only got to talk on the phone with you. But even in our conversations it was if I knew you my whole life. I love you Grandpa Tom and You will be greatly missed. Nikki

Many great memories of hanging out with Tom. Rabbit and prairie dog hunting, boy scouts, a trip to Estes Park, cruising in the Cougar, running track, Tom overhauling my '64 Mercury so I could drive it another 30,000 miles, fishing in Beaver County, always listening to good '60's rock and roll.

I will miss Tom tremendously. He would always call me at the clinic and ask for me. I always enjoyed talking to him and helping in anyway I could. He had a heart of gold and was always so sweet. We could always stay on the phone and talk to long. I will miss hearing and seeing him.
