Our condolences to dear Rita, Tom's mom, and Tom's fun, endearing, charming brothers and sisters, especially Jeannine, who is our daughter-in-law. We can't begin to imagine the pain. And we pray ... Father, in Jesus almighty name, comfort the Tomko family and give them the peace that comes from You alone and which we will share in eternity. In His love, Rosemary and Alan Stein

Tom and I were Psi Upsilon brothers at U of I. He was a great person. Tom had me to his home as guest when Nelson Rockefeller was running for vice president and we met him at the airport and gave him the Psi U handshake, as he too, was a Psi U. I'll always remember that day and the fun we had as well as the hospitality I received from he and his family. God bless.

Tom was always in the middle of everything as a member of Psi Upsilon at the University of Illinois. I'm sure he was actively involved in his adult life as well. We all miss you, Tom.

To Tom's family and friends:

Tom and I were fraternity brothers at Illinois. He was a leader in the house, intelligent, well-respected. He will be greatly missed.

I am sorry to hear of Tom's passing. Having been alumni advisor to the house since about 1965, Tom's was one of the first classes I was acquainted with after returning to Champaign. My sympathy goes to all the family. Joe Miller '57

So sorry to hear of Tom's passing. I knew him at the University of Illinois from 1967-1970 when we were members of the same fraternity. He always had a smile on his face and a good word to say to everyone he met. "TomTom" will be missed.
