Tim Watson Obituary
Tim was born March 10th,1946 in Ocoee, Florida, the son of Harvey Watson and Doris Heufel. He graduated from Ocoee High School in 1965.
Tim worked as an Industrial Chemical salesman for many years. After a couple years of retirement, Tim decided to go back to work at Hibbett Sports. He worked there for many years and became part of the management team.
Tim's favorite hobbies were golfing and fishing with his sons and listening to country music. Tim also greatly enjoyed watching football, with his favorite team being the Florida Gators. He coached his sons in youth soccer as well as baseball at the Highland City Ballpark for many years.
Tim is preceded in death by his parents, step-father Alfred Heufel, his siblings, Alice Schnittker (Pete) and Tommy Watson (Lucille) as well as his son-in-law, Ronald Roney. Remaining to cherish Tim's memory are his children, Lori Roney, Sean Watson (Carol), Chris Watson (Heather), and Jeff Watson (Alicia); his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as his many extended family members.

Coach Watson. A coach I will never forget. He coached me in HC baseball, and he was a hell of a coach. Taught us to be tough, motivated us, and never let us quit. He will be missed !!!

My Uncle Tim was one of my favorite humans of all time. We have shared so much laughter with each other. I think it´s because we both had a quirky sense of humor and loved laughter.
The Coney Island in Brooksville, Smitty´s in Dade City and Catfish country in Lakeland always brought happiness to us. All our favorites. He walked me down the aisle at my wedding 10 years ago & it meant the world to me. I felt so privileged to have been able to spend one of his last days with him and his beautiful family. He was ready and kept telling everyone he loved them and how proud he was of all his kids. It may sound strange but it was so beautiful. And when he promised Lori that he would be sure to kick Ron´s butt for leaving her, well I knew then he´d be ok. I will miss him so much but I know it´s only temporary. I will see him again.
