Mr. Timmy Figgs

Mr. Timmy Earl Figgs, 61, of Woodtick Road, departed this life unexpectedly, Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at St. Mary's Hospital. He was the widower of Annette C. Petteway-Figgs. Mr. Figgs was born in Waterbury on January 4, 1958 a son of the late Willie Wilson Hurdle Sr. and Essie Mae (Figgs) Lewis. A life-long resident of Waterbury Mr. Figgs graduated from Wilby High School and went on to attend Johnson and Wales College in Providence RI to pursue a degree in culinary arts. He was formerly employed by Drescher's Restaurant & Bar. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him Mr. Figgs is survived by six daughters, Tanya Coles, LaTanya (Peter) Chen, Chimere Figgs all of Waterbury, Luatoya Andrews of Bristol, Tawanya Figgs of Tennessee and Denise Mason of Delaware, five sons; Thomas (Tanisha) Andrews, Tim Eason, Ferris Hayes, Fabian Hayes and Charles (Armani) Eason; host of grandchildren, four brothers Tyron (Wanda) Figgs of New Haven ,Robert (Christina) Figgs, Leroy (Barbara) Hurdle of Waterbury, Ronald Hurdle of Sunbury NC; two sisters Gloria Faison of Waterbury and Sophia Ann Hurdle of Sunbury, NC, several nieces, nephews, cousins, host of extended family and friends. He was predeceased by a sister Joyce Vascianna; three brothers Willie W. Hurdle Jr., George Hurdle and Mr. Robert Hurdle.
