Timothy Dodd

Timothy (Tim) Dodd, 76, of Modesto, CA, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2025, at home surrounded by his loving and devoted wife and children.

Tim is survived by his spouse of 36 years Lourdes, daughter Julie, son Timothy (Krystal), three grandchildren and his "fur-baby" Cooper. He is also survived by sister Cheryl Roche. He leaves behind a large extended family, nieces, nephews, and many friends. Tim is preceded in death by his mother and stepfather Mary and John Banducci and brothers Ronnie and Darwin Dodd.

Tim was born and raised in Oakdale, CA. He served in the Army branch of the military. He worked for Tri-Valley Growers for several years and then at Franklin and Downs Mortuary in Modesto until he retired. Tim was a loving husband and enjoyed the last several years spending precious time with his wife and best friend Lourdes. Together they enjoyed road trips, car shows, casinos and many family gatherings. He was a very devoted parent, brother, cousin, uncle, family member and friend to so many people. He would help any of them if and when they needed, often calling and checking in on his loved ones regularly.

Tim enjoyed going to car shows and socializing, he was a great conversationalist. He prided himself on keeping his hot-rod and his truck immaculate. He was a collector of antiques, old clocks and perfectly clean, stylish sneakers. Those who knew him would agree; he had impeccable taste and style. Tim had a great sense of humor, was a good listener, and even better storyteller.

A memorial service will be held on Monday April 7, 2025, from 5 to 7 pm at Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel 419 Scenic Drive, Modesto, CA. Burial will be held on Tuesday April 8, 2025, at 11:30 am at Lakewood Memorial Park 900 Santa Fe Avenue, Hughson, CA. Family and friends are invited to attend a reception to celebrate Tim's life immediately following the burial at St. Anthony's Church Hall at 7820 Fox Road, Hughson, CA.
