Tina was my soul mate! We met in 1985 when I was fortunate enough to move in with her, Kim, Richard, Frank and Georgia.
I called her my American mom. We spent so many nights talking like we had known each other all our lives. We met again last year in Las Vegas - and she finlally got to meet my husband and 3 kids. We had not seen each other for 22 years, but we had contact over the years by phone, email and facebook.
My thoughts are with the family, especially Kim and Richard.
She will never be forgotten by me. I will miss our long talks and will miss her so much. We'll meet again my friend!

I remember Tina from the early '60s. We were about the same age. Verdi brought her, Sandy, and Marcel to meetings at the Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall in N.E. Minneapolis. I attended Verdi's funeral there, as well. I didn't know Tina well or for very long. But, I imagine her life must have been interesting and varied. Perhaps someone will someday write of her adventures. It seems (like me), she looked beyond the spiritual commonality we once shared for something that was a better fit. My condolences to her family and loved ones.

I am at a loss for words, I knew Tina for most of my life and there is a big hole in my heart. She was an amazing woman, a woman who I admired and loved very dearly. I will miss her so very much.

I am happy that I spoke to her on the Thursday before she became ill. We shared a grandmother, grandfather, aunts, uncles and a lot of cousins. She will be missed by the family. Love and prayers are sent by family who can not be present with you at this time.

Growing up together, Tina was like a second mom to me. I feel very fortunate to have had her my life. She will be missed by so many she touched.
