Tom Imbach Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 14, 2025.
Visalia - Tom Imbach passed away on August 8, 2025, of natural causes. As a child, Recreation Park was his playground where he was a carroms master. He became very close to the Anthony family who lived on the premises. He played the violin and dreamed of becoming the next Jascha Heifetz. Tom graduated from Mt. Whitney in 1967, then enlisted in the US Navy during the Viet Nam War. He served on The USS Midway in the Ready Room, assisting pilots' preparing for their flights. Remarkably, they lost no pilots during his deployment. After honorable discharge, he got his Master's in Social Work. He spent his professional years working in mental health. He had a compassionate, caring manner. Tom was the son of Ernie and Marge Imbach. He is survived by Nancy Cannon, Jan Steiner, Marc Imbach, and numerous nieces and nephews.
