Tonya Schultz Obituary
Born in Pottsville, she was a daughter of the late Vanessa Schultz Lagola and Richard Wagner, Palo Alto.
She was a 2000 graduate of Minersville Area High School, and attended McCann School of Business and Technology. She was employed by Maxim Healthcare Services and previously worked at Simon Kramer Institute as well as the former Pottsville Club.
Tonya was a proud and protective mom to her children, but was also known for her quirky sense of humor and outgoing personality
Tonya is survived by her son, Tre'von Boyd and her newborn daughter, Zuriah Schultz; four siblings, Nicholas Lagola, Minersville, Renee Seiger, Lykens, Christopher Lagola, and his companion, Elaine Elo, Llewellyn, and Heather Kull and her husband, Brad, Pine Grove. She is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Dutcavich Funeral Home, 200 Sunbury St., Minersville. Relatives and friends may call from 6 p.m. Friday and from 6 a.m. until the time of he service Saturday. Interment will be in St. Stanislaus Kostka No. 2 Cemetery, Branch Township. Chica... What do I say? The past two days I've been in shock, disbelief. This is such an awful reality. My heart is weighing so heavy for you, your beautiful children and your family. I'm sorry we didn't get together the two times this past year that we had planned. But I have so many memories I will forever hold close to my heart of all the good times us girls had and even going back to working together at the diner. U were truly one of a kind. Such an amazing young woman and incredible mother. Smart, funny, beautiful n so full of love n life. A breath of fresh air to anyone who was fortunate to know you. I am so grateful n proud to say you were my friend! Rest in paradise my sweet chica! U will never be forgotten. I love you Tonya.
