Often in life we are privileged enough to meet a person of great depth and insight, even if only briefly. I met Tracey earlier this year during a workshop in Melbourne. We spoke for some time over morning tea. Tracey was so down to earth and a great listener. We spoke about the importance of asking important questions in our work as academics. We also shared about our families and how our children kept us grounded as women in the academic world. Later that day during the workshop sessions, Tracey spoke with such authority about the importance of recording Pasifika history accurately from a Pasifika perspective. I admired her powerful yet respectful presence at this event. Thank you for sharing your wisdom dear Pasifika sister. 'Ofa ke tapuekina koe mo hoo famili e he 'Eiki. Malo e ngaue Tracey, malo aupito hoo ofa mo fakalotolahi. 'Ofa ange ae 'Otua ke ne tataki hoo fononga.
Malo and Blessings.

Tracy's teaching at Melbourne University left a huge mark on me. I'm very sorry to hear that she has been taken from this world so early.

I'm sure that Tracey was a wonderful woman, like her mother, my friend Jill.

Long may she live on in her two beautiful children.
