TRENT JAY SHELTON

TRENT JAY SHELTON, 30, passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2018. He was born Oct. 28, 1987, in Fort Wayne, the son of Dawn Kissell and the late Keith Shelton. He was a Professional tree climber, specializing in dangerous removals. He had a passion for the outdoors, poetry, and working on his dream car "77 Corvette". "Trent was a man with a beautiful mind and heart, one of which will never be replaceable". He was the brother and friend that would be there at the drop of a dime, no matter what the cost or the problem. Nothing meant more to him then his family, his children especially were the light of his life. His conversations often consisted of his daughters intelligence and intuition, and his sons strength and strong will. He will forever live on through them. Trent was the devoted husband of Jazmine Shelton; also surviving are his son, Logan Shelton; daughter, Mackenzi Shelton; brothers, Tyler Shelton, Seth Shelton, and Joseph Bateman; sisters, Hollie Shelton, Rachael Shelton, and Jenny Pomales; grandmother, Virginia Shelton; and grandfather, Jay Miller. He was preceded in death by his brother, Lonnie Shelton; grandmother, Janeen Miller; and grandfather, Frank Shelton. Friends and family are welcome to attend the Memorial Service from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, July 21, 2018, at 2601 Alma St, Fort Wayne, with a Celebration of life to follow from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, July 21 2018, at Saint Joe Athletic Club, 817 Anderson Ave., Fort Wayne.
